Medicine Administration Forms
Medicine Administration Forms were given out today and will need to be given to classroom teachers on Monday morning.
If your child requires any type of medication, even Panadol, then these forms will need to be filled out. If there is no medication needed then no forms need to be returned.
We will have some extra forms available on Monday morning for all those that were away today.

Compulsory Confirmation Meeting
Here is a copy of the letter sent home about Confirmation this year. The meeting is tomorrow night.
THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION
Dear Parents,
Welcome!
We are looking forward to sharing with you this
journey of faith as your child prepares to receive the Sacrament of
Confirmation.
Confirmation preparation involves learning,
sharing, serving, fellowship, spiritual growth and fun! The children will be given
the opportunity
to learn more about their Catholic faith and what
it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ. Confirmation is the Sacrament in
which one is
enriched by the gift of the Holy Spirit and bound
more perfectly to the Church. It strengthens us and obliges us to be witnesses
to Christ
by word and deed and to spread and defend the
faith. It is the Sacrament in which one enters into full membership in the Catholic
Church. Confirmation perfects Baptismal grace; it
is the Sacrament which gives us the Holy Spirit in order to root us more deeply
as children
of God, incorporate us more firmly into Christ,
strengthen our bond with the Church, associate us more closely with her
mission, and help us
to bear witness to the Christian faith in words
accompanied by deeds. Confirmation, like Baptism, imprints a spiritual mark or
indelible
character on the Christian soul; for this Reason
one can receive this sacrament only once. A Christian does not live as a child
of God through
his or her own efforts alone, but through the grace
of God. Therefore, it is our duty to seek the grace that God offers us in order
to live our
lives as Christians in the way that God intends.
A – ask for Grace
B – Be Gracious
C – Completely Trust in the Lord
At Our Lady of the Rosary Kellyville, parents
are invited to attend a compulsory meeting to assist them in preparing their
child to celebrate this Sacrament. The
meeting date and time is: Tuesday
12th May at 7.30pm, in the School/Parish Hall and will last 1 hour. Please note that we will hold the Marian
College Year 7 Enrolment on the same night, so please bring your completed
enrolment form with you. Marian College is aware that these forms will be
handed in after their deadline.
To pre-register
your child and avoid queues on the night, please email the following details asap
to sacraments@olorparishkellyville.org.au

return it to the Commitment Services on either of the following two dates: Saturday
16th May at 6pm or Sunday 17th May at 11am.

the parent not be able to attend the meeting, please advise me prior to the evening. If you are unable to commit to all the
Programme dates then please discuss with myself immediately.

Canberra News
Dear Parents,
Yesterday we finalised parent helpers for our Canberra
excursion. There were many volunteers but after we counted staff, Father Robert
and parents that needed to come for either medical or supervision needs, we
only had 2 seats left on the bus. All volunteers were placed in a hat and drawn
out in front of the children, one dad and one mum. We realise that this is a
disappointment for some, however, we were limited by seats available in the
bus.
It was wonderful to see so many parents wanting to come and
if we had a bigger bus we could have taken more. The parents that will be
attending are:
Mr DePaoli, Mr Apap, Mr Silva, Mr Scarsbrook, Mrs Muffet and
